Understanding door closers
Concealed
A concealed door closer is hidden from view when the door is closed. Unlike overhead closers or floor springs, Samuel Heath jamb-mounted closers require relatively little preparation during installation and leave minimal hardware visible when fitted.
Controlled
A controlled door closer closes the door at a regulated speed. Powermatic door closers achieve this through a combination of stainless steel link rods, hydraulics and engineered spring mechanisms. Closing speed is preset during manufacture and can be adjusted for certain applications.
