Samuel Heath Presents The Primary Bathroom at WOW!house 2026

Samuel Heath Presents The Primary Bathroom at WOW!house 2026

This June, Samuel Heath returns to WOW!house, presenting the Primary Bathroom in collaboration with acclaimed London interior design studio, Rigby & Rigby. At the heart of the project is a bespoke brassware concept developed collaboratively between Rigby & Rigby and the Samuel Heath design team, specifically for WOW!house.

WOW!house at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour is firmly established as one of the highlights of the design calendar. It’s an immersive showcase in which leading studios and high-end brands collaborate to create full-scale rooms that push the boundaries of interior design.

At the forefront of luxury residential design and construction, Rigby & Rigby are known for creating spaces where every element, from the architecture to the fine details, is given equal consideration – a natural partnership for Samuel Heath on a project rooted in craft and materiality.

The room centres on a sculptural Ofuro-inspired bath, positioned beneath a stepped timber ceiling with lattice detailing drawn from Kumiko, the Japanese woodworking tradition of interlocking geometric forms. Around it, the atmosphere builds slowly: light transitions across the space, a bespoke soundscape plays at low volume, scent from Jo Malone London drifts through the air, and mist rises from the bath itself. Rigby & Rigby have approached every sense as a design variable.

The bathroom’s bespoke brassware concept was developed collaboratively between Rigby & Rigby and the Samuel Heath design team, specifically for WOW!house. It draws on two sources that, on the surface, appear far apart: the precision engineering and tooling of Samuel Heath’s historic Birmingham factory, and a Japanese craft tradition where quality is understood through touch as much as sight. What connects them is a belief that quality should be felt as much as seen.

Alongside the brassware, the room brings together contributions from a carefully curated group of collaborators including James Wellesley, Armourcoat, Lapicida, Nuno Fabrics, Holly Hunt and others, layering timber, textured plaster, stone and handwoven textile into a space designed to feel considered as well as calm.

WOW!house 2026 is open from 2nd June – 2nd July at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour. Samuel Heath is hosting a series of events across the exhibition period.
