Samuel Heath prides itself on offering a wide range of lustrous finishes on all its products.
From satin chrome to polished nickel, antique gold and even matt black, each finish has a flawless, high-gloss surface with a stunning depth that is made to stand the test of time.
Each product is firstly hand-polished by Samuel Heath’s experienced craftsmen before going through up to 34 different plating processes. Firstly a layer of copper is added to enhance the hardwearing finish, allied by nickel and then the chosen finish, built up over a series of stages and a number of washes and rinses.
Because Samuel Heath’s products are crafted from pure brass, the finish isn’t spoilt by impurities or air bubbles, whilst the thickness of the layers helps to create a durable ‘mirror’ finish that will last for years to come. Finishes such as nickel, bronze and sanded brass are also designed to develop their own patina and a sense of personality over time.
Many of Samuel Heath’s finishes are available across its bathroom and hardware collections, allowing for seamless continuity.
